Split Rubber Baffle Included

Fire-Rated for Peace of Mind
Certified 1-1/2 hour UL Class B Fire Rated, with a 30-minute temperature rise (250°F max). Built to meet national building codes, NFPA-82, and ASTM standards.
Fire Door Expansion-Sealing Strip
Installed in the gaps between door and frame. The strip automatically expands when exposed to fire, beginning at 180℃ and fully at 347℃, to at least 3 times its original thickness. This seals the gap to block smoke, toxic gases, and heat and to slow the spread of fire. It withstands 980℃ for 30 minutes without burning or turning to ash, prevents smoke leakage for over 72 minutes, and keeps its expansion rate after 5 years at 90% humidity.
Extended Angled Tray for Smooth Disposal
The bottom-hinged door has a longer, angled hopper tray that guides garbage or linens down the chute. This reduces jams, tears, and buildup against the hinge of the bottom of the door
