Suitability:
- underground feeder
- branch circuit wiring in wet, dry & corrosive as specified in NEC article no 340
- 12 AWG for outside post lamps, pumps and other equipment
- May be directly installed where it is exposed to the sunlight. It can be used as non-metallic sheathed cable in accordance with NEC Article no 334 (with ampacity limited to that of 60°C).
- Type AWM is suitable to use in dry location not exceeding 105°C when rated and used as appliance wiring material.
